last but not least..this is my newest penny rug..I got the behive done last night..still have to add the bees..words..and a flag along with some flowers..this will take me into the weekend I am sure..gotta cut out the shapes and the pennys..went to our ladies luncheon and it was just the 2 of us as the others didn't show up..so Heather and I sat and had a great visit..we had pasta salad..it was soo good and I made cinnamon rolls..I sent some home with her and gave the rest to our postal lady..;)

I learned this the other night..take a brownie mix and 1 can of black beans with juice..mix the beans up in a blender with juice and add to the brownie mix and nothing else..no eggs or oil and bake like normal..(I haven't tried this) but will give it a shot..

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend..we are in for a cold weekend..;) I hope you are all staying nice and toasty and enjoying the weekend..Hubby is contemplating moving as our state is in bigger debt then California..and he wants out while the gettin is good..we want some place nice, not too hot and not too cold..mild winters..not humid in the summer..and that is growing their economy..we have thought about Kentucky..or down south..so if any of you know anything about these states..please let me know...I don't want to move..but we may have too..so weighing all of our options..and my crafts would sell better down south or back east for that matter..Thanks for stopping by..I will be mailing of my packages on monday.. might work on the trencher this weekend..will see what the weather holds.;)

Good thursday morning everyone!!! I took some photos on Sunday, of all that is blooming in our yard right now..these are up front by my entry gate..I think these are snow drops..but I am not sure..but they are just soooo small and delicate..and I love them..:)

Our Forsythia is blooming now.;)

I love the colors..it is so springy and her jonquils are in bloom as we speak too.;)I love those..

I moved my little solar lights to this little walkway up the front yard garden..now you can use this little walkway at night if you choose..I need to get a few more..but it looks so neat at night..as I have more at the front gate too.;)

This is always my first sign of spring..this little primrose in my veggie garden..it was actually blooming on new years day under a hard frost.;)

so on tuesday this is what we got in the way of snow..it snowed all day and never stuck..

this was when it was really coming down..the flakes were huge..;)it was really pretty to look at..I had a nice fire going and I was all nice and toasty on the couch..;)

This is the trees on the interstate going to the doctors yesterday..its looks like powder sugar has been sifted on them..I loved how they looked..

we made it home from the doctors in the nick of time..it was gorgeous going out and we did some running around when we were done at the doctors..but around 2:30pm we started to see the flakes coming..and by 4:30pm this is what we had..

Now you will laugh when I tell you this will shut our state down in an instant..schools were probably delayed a couple of hours and commutes will be long..they spread dirt on the ground for leverage..but it is so minut..that why bother..hubby took my car today..cause it has chains..we are in for a cold snap these next couple of days..so I am not going anywhere...and a nice fire is going..and I am going downstairs to enjoy it..finish a project I am doing (sneek peek below)..and catching up on some tv..;) then its back to the craft room for more sewing.;)

I finished the doll for the swap that I am doing..she is sitting in the box I am re-finishing..not loving the colors of the box..to muddy..so am painting it black again and using a blue on top..I know I don't have a lot of blue in my home..but I think it needs that pop of color..

the doll pattern comes from pineberry lane..I love her patterns and have several of them..I will take orders on this doll if anyone is interested..I need to start some easter type items..mostly prim bunnies.;)

This is the sneek peek of the project almost finished..I started this on tuesday night..will be done today and listed on etsy this afternoon..and then I am starting another one..

ahhh last but not least..this is why I went to the doctors yesterday..I have to do a 24 hour urine test so they can see whats in there to see how my kidneys are functioning..I then take this back (doing this on sunday) to take back on monday..they will do a blood draw etc..I also have an appt. with a Nepherologist to see about my kidneys and they didn't like what they saw on the renal ultrasound I had last friday..so please, please keep me in your prayers that this is nothing serious and its only kidney stones...we have a history of kidney disease in my family and my mom and oldest sister have it..and I fear I do too...I am trying to be positive and upbeat..but its getting harder as the days go by..and the testing and appts get closer...I hope you all have a wonderful thursday and thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi..I love reading all your comments..they always make my day.;)

Good Afternoon and Evening for some of you!!! Sorry for the late post..got lazy and built a fire and watched t.v. and took an hour nap..just what I needed apparently..We got snow today..but will save the photos for thursday.;) I am linking up to Misi's tuesday display chain..and today is about BOWLS...I love my bowls and some have stories others do not..the one above I received from a friend when I had her daughter for a weeks visit...I almost got rid of this bowl..but am so glad I didn't..I love the chip and the patina this bowl has..

I love my pyrex bowls the best..but I do have my longaberger bowls here too..although I use my old ones the most.;) just a sense of nostalgia I guess..I love them..

love these brown beauties..they remind me of a hot fudge sundae..I love the brown color..I have used these in my candle making before..as I love the look of them as well.;)would be great icecream bowls and hot cocoa cups...

I love these little sherbet cups..and they remind me of sherbet and spring..;)

I got these when I did a home show for a gal that I now do her show in July..she had 3 of these orange beauties along with 4 plates..I just couldn't resist that fall orange..I use these when I make pasta..;)

this bowl came from Vietri Italy..they have wonderful pottery and reasonable prices too..you can see this is starting to show some wear..but can't throw it out..I use this when I make chinese chicken salad.;) I love the colors used here..

These also came from italy..(we lived in Naples Italy for 3 years with the Navy)..same place..I have 2 of each..I also use these when we have guests over for pasta..:)

my coors serving dishes..they remind me of restaurant wear..I don't use these often but need to..I love using these serving veggies..

my decorative crow plate that I picked up last year..I see these in prim homes and love them..and was so happy when I saw this.;)

last but not least..and not a bowl either..I made this using a recycled wool sweater and my sizzix..I sat and watched the return of Nanny McPhee yesterday and stitched this out..this will be going on my etsy site after I am through here..I liked the first Nanny McPhee better but this one was worth watching too..and great for kids...well that is it for me today..I hope you all had a wonderful day..I am in the middle of transforming that trencher..I painted it one color and it looks muddy..so am redoing it and finishing up some other projects to get in the mail tomorrow..have a wonderful evening everyone..and thanks for dropping by..:)

Good Windy Sunny Morning everyone!!!! we have been getting some decent weather lately..a little windy..but if its not raining..its not a bad day..:) A couple of you asked where I get my wool from...this gal has wonderful wool and she ships out super quick.. her etsy shop is Quilting Acres tell her I sent you..you won't be disappointed.;)

I did a swap recently with my good Pal Linda of Parkers Paradise..she sent me some wonderful look alike firkins that she painted and distressed..I just love them...and she wanted a penny rug...so I made this out of an old wool green army blanket...I love how this turned out too.;) you see my little sizzix crow..;)

I made her a "prim Blessings" rolling pin cover that she just needs to stitch on.(I do make these and sell these if anyone is interested) I can make them with or without the Pin..I had my great pal Cindy of Cynthia Lees Designs digitize me this wonderful Parkers Paradise design that I embroidered onto a black checkered towel and put a blanket stitch around it..she also received a little winter snowman candle mat doily that I embroidered as well..and a little Pillow that Says: Primitives Simple Treasures of the past..I can't wait to see how she displays all her goodies.:)

Well we are off to home depot to get some fencing..Our stinky puppy is making mud trails of our lawn so we are fencing it off and planting grass and hoping he stops making trails in the yard..he loves to bolt out the door barking and being tough as he heads down to the tree where the Raccoons hide out..he hates them...and in doing so..he has made a mess of our yard.:)

Hello there everyone!!! I hope your friday is going swell today.;) yesterday we had a winner for Bingo..Miss Tiff from Folded Gingham won the big prize..but I had 2 others that got bingo too..so I am sending consolation gifties to them as well.;)On tuesday I think it was..I got some fun packages in the mail..I ordered more wool for my penny rugs..I love this wool..so soft etc.;) and I got some pennies already cut that I am in the process of making a penny rug out of for tonight..:)

Okay so I did some organizing..nothing really big..but I certainly notice it and thats all that matters, right? above is the before...;)

Here is the after..I added that cute little red picnic table to this mix..it added a bit of height and I like it.;)

Now you don't..I also am going through my magazine stash and taking what I want and setting these aside for my friend Sarah..still have some to go..but that little bit helps...I don't want to be considered a hoarder..and my magazines have gotten out of control;)

here is my work table..you can see silly Millie sitting on my stuff..now this was more decluttered then it is as we speak..so here is the before..(scroll down 2 photos for the after)..

this is the wall that got the major overhauling done to it..It was driving me nuts..so here is the before...

and here is the after..I used some of my TS baskets to put stuff in..I love baskets..and they hold a multitude of sins...er crafts.;)

okay here is the after (2 photos above)..I have all my wool stash here now.;)

and this is what left my room..boxes, crafts etc..there was also stuff down stairs and stuff I had taken out the day before..when I am done with my stuff I don't need it in my craft room taking up space..I have huge bins out in the upper portion of our garage and thats where alot of it went..

Tuesday I found a surprise out on my porch from Sarah..I had done her hair on tuesday and taken her into town as their car battery had died and Hubby took the other car..This gal is just too sweet for words..I mean she drives me all over all the time as it is..but I do love this..;)

it says: Calm the Soul, free the spirit! and it is in our bedroom on my shelf..;)

A while back I told you I was swapping a doll for this trencher..well it arrived on wednesday as well..

and this is what I got..I must say I was not too pleased with this..as I told her I wanted it like the one above but with some mustard mixed in..so it looked like years of chippy paint etc..she said she couldn't do it..so I got this sloppy one coated item..that I now have to paint..and I will do the black and maybe a mustard or an olive kind of look to it..this thing is huge..I gotta see if I am going to put it on the kitchen table or not..or maybe turn around and sell it..I was thinking of putting in a big pineapple with greenery as a Welcome sort of thing..what do you all think...:) well I am out of here..my day started off pretty early with a hard nights rest..Take care and I hope you all have a great weekend..:)Thanks to all of you for playing Bingo with me..I have fun having you stop by to say hi and I love your comments..I have really enjoyed my time on blogland and getting to know so many wonderful gals out there...we really are a special breed..;)
