SunDaY WaLk...

We took our usual sunday walk this morning and this is what it looked like at around 11am this morning..a morning haze that was passing through..it was chilly this morning...but oh so pretty....

you can usually see the water from here..but not this morning...real thick foggy haze..I love mornings like this..

some type of gourd that has taken over this neigbhors garden..gorgeous though..;)

a wild rose..smelled pretty too..

I wish you could see these in person...these are huge..I took photos last week but there was only on in bloom..I love sunflowers..:)

MoRe PuRses In The ProCeSs...& KiDs..,

Good SaTurDay Morning to you all!!! Yesterday and last night I spent making purses...getting them embroidered anyway..I got 3 done and I also made a breast cancer bracelet that I need to sew on the tie band and add a little charm to it..going to be making several of these for my upcoming show in October..it is a breast cancer fundraiser...so gotta make more purses and some other things that pertain to the BC..

this is one I am currently working on today..gotta sew on the images yet..This is all the sizzix designs that I have put together..there are 3 different sets here..

I thought I would leave you with some cute photos of our babies..the top photo is our Sunny E Bunny, doing what she loves to do best...Sun herself..she was named so well by her foster moms granddaughter..her name was sunshine and we shortened it to sunny..she is sitting with her mama as I type this practically sitting on the keyboards waiting patiently for a love..and she is purring contentedly while I write this..she and Silly Millie are my biggest fans here in the craftroom...course they get fed in here..so could that be it? I hope its because they love their mommy..;0)

this was Silly Millie yesterday when I was taking photos using that box..it was empty so she used it as her scratching post and then laid down...she loves to sit on my lap and be cradled and cuddled and then needles me to no end..

Here is our Precious little Pody Ann or Lynn depending on the day...rolling in her favorite spot..

there she is striking a pose that she does so often that melts her mom and dads heart..she grabs her ears and stretches and peeks through her paws...oh I just want to give her a belly belly..that is our way of saying I want to pet her belly and just love her...she loves fall too..and will search for the biggest intact leaf and come trotting out and give it to me...she has done this since she was little..again melting my heart...so I take them in and use them in my fall decorating, after all she took the time to search them out for me...I hope you all have a wonderful weekend..we had a bit of rain/drizzle last night and today is a bit overcast..not supposed to last... but we are hoping for an indian summer..now we need to clean the chimney, purchase our wood logs and get ready for fall/winter..will probably be the latter part of October and we will be heating up the old woodstove again...I love using it and love the warmth and coziness it brings to our home and watching the kids find their spots on the rug or their beds and snuggle down..it is the cheapest babysitter ever...they get so crazy in the winter cause they don't go out much as it is always raining...so they start tearing it up around the house being little monkeys..so I light the fire and BAM! they are out like little lights....Okay I have rambled on long enough..
On another note..I have dropped my prices on my selling blog..so if you see anything you like let me know..I also heard from the gal that won my giveaway last month..she won my purse and she used it the other day and loved it for shopping and she loved her room spray as well and said she couldn't stop spraying with it..that was so nice to hear..I have also added more scents to my list..and they smell yummy too..just in time for fall and winter...take care..:)

A PuRse, GooDieS In The MaiL anD DiNNeR...

T.G.I.F.!!! Hey there my good people..here is the other purse that I made..I loved it so much..I am keeping it..used it yesterday when I went grocery shopping..stays on me and I can walk away from my cart..I spent $72.00 yesterday but I used $23.50 in coupons...so I spent $48.50..pretty good huh..of course my little sister would have save a boat load more..I didn't have any coupons on the stuff I had but had coupons for $12.50 off my next order and a $10.00 coupon off another order..so I did 2 seperate orders..gotta save money any way we can now days..Any way I love the colors of this purse..so I am going to make another one and some others with different designs..I have pillows tucks to make, candle mats, doileys etc..and then start on some dolls..I have 6 weeks to get this all done..wish me luck..gotta get off this computer..but I love blogging..;)

yesterday I finally got my package from Samplers Country on Ebay..I ordered a bunch of stuff to make little potpourri baggies to sell at my shows and to make garlands and wreaths and maybe keep some for me...:) I love!!! all the fall colors..

here are the things for the garlands and wreaths..and these look like folk pumpkins..so some of my dolls will be holding these..:)

little skinny candles..dolls will hold these..mini pomagrantes and little pumpin type pods..again my dolls will hold these...We had our 2 home teachers from church over last night for BBQ spaghetti..it was so tasty and I sent them home with the left overs and apple cinnamon muffins..made a black forrest cake and the center was totally not baked..even baked it 15 minutes longer..so we ate around the edge and threw the rest of it away..got the recipe from someone here..note to everyone out there giving out recipes..please be specific on what size pan to use or what size the bottle is..you all know this recipe by heart....but the ones that are trying it for the first time do not..tell us where to get it..example..the baking isle or the dairy case etc..needless to say..that recipe got thrown away...anyway they came over and took our huge hot tub that we never did use..it was a freebie and it has been sitting on its side for years now..rotting away..and they took an old grill and a kayak mold away on their trailer so we now don't look like the clampets live in our back yard...they didn't take all the leaves that are back there though...lol..oh it looks so much better..not an eyesore for the neighbors any more..we had a great time eating outside al fresco on our picnic table..they were the first to eat with us out there..it was nice and relaxing...Have a wonderful weekend everyone...:)

WhAt Do You EaT and DrinK froM...

Hello there my good people..I thought I would start something different on the plates we love and what occasion they are used for..I figured since we just did the texture thing..this would be another neat idea...As you can see above I collect the fire king plate ware and bowls etc..These particular ones come from the 40's and 50's..I have always imagined the stories these plates could tell..what with the knife marks where some of the plate has worn off etc..I love the peach lustre they have on them..my friend Selena back when we lived in Vancouver Washington she was about 16 at the time and she was collecting this particular stuff and I had never seen it before and I was hooked..I have lost a few pieces over the years and don't collect it to much any more..I am now into my pyrex faze...but I use these pieces mostly for our weekend breakfasts. the bigger bowls are used for our salads..the little bowls and the ones with handles are used for icecream..and the little ones I use as baking cups..I occasionally use my plates for soup and grilled cheese sandwich night when the smaller plate comes into play to keep the spill off of the soup on the plate and not on my furniture...

Here they are all neatly stacked in my drawer using a pampered chef wooden rack..I love this thing...

Here is my Avon red plate ware..I only have the 2 goblets and 2 plates..we use these for our anniversary or christmas if it is the 2 of us..love to serve my prime rib on it with my garlic smashed potatoes...

Now this is my favorite pasta bowls...I got these and some salad plates, (same color) years ago from my favorite haunt..they were intially my "fall" plateware as I love the orange color..but I use them all year round and love my pasta in them..I only have 3 of these and 4 salad plates..love em..;)

here is my everyday plateware. 4 of each color...I got the yellow ones from Kimmy as I loved them with the orange bowls and the middle ones came from Fred Meyers and the green ones on the right came from at home america I believe..I will also use these (green) ones on sundays as well..

aaahhh I love the colors of these cheap ($6) bowls..I use these as soup and pasta bowls too..( like when my orange ones are dirty or we are having guests for dinner..

and these are my favorite pyrex cereal bowls..I used to eat breakfast out of these as a kid and still do today..I love these bowls...

last but not least...my favorite glasses..I use these when we are having guests and pair them up with my fire king plate ware for a really old fashioned look..I love how everything stays so cold and good in these..can you guess my favorite one? will let you know tomorrow...So what do you eat and drink from..I would love to see it...so now you must post what you use so we can all see them.....have a wonderful thursday..I am having our home teachers from church over for dinner tonight...we are having the BBQ spaghetti..I got this recipe from Pickets Place and made it on monday and was tasty..so trying it out on these boys...haven't figured out what to do for dessert yet..might be something with Pumpkin in it...in that fall mood I guess..I also finished up another cute purse yesterday..will share that tomorrow...today we are supposed to get in the high 80's so gotta water and make sure the animals are okay...Take care.;)

WhAtchA WoRkIng On WeDneSday....

Hey there folks! Sorry for the late post..but my home needed a deep cleaning..so I mopped floors, vacuumed, and dusted..I love it when the house is clean and organized..even tidyed up my craft room as well...gets so over whelming at times and needs a good straightening..so that I can mess it up again..lol...
Well I finally finished up the purses I was making and now am going to start some more..I have had so much fun making these, and chooosing the different fabrics to go with the design etc..

this is the newest one I made yesterday for my friend Peggy..She loves dragon fly and bees..so the bee charm is on her zipper...I love the colors that are on the front...and the green polka-dot fabric go so well with the paisleys on the front... I took it over to her last night and she loved it..took it with her to the movies last night...

I love the way the black and white ones turned out too..these are on black leather handles and are over the shoulder bags...I love the simplicity but they sure do make a statement..

and I love the little snowflake one too..there is a snowflake button on the front and the handle looks so good with the purse...Well I am off to make some more purses etc..I hope you all have a wonderful wednesday..thanks for stopping by..if anyone is interested in purchasing one of my purses let me know..:)

TuEsDay FuNnies..

I will say that I liked the original Dumb and Dumber alot better...was alot funnier...this version is just plain scary... Have a wonderful tuesday..will be back with Whatcha working on Wednesday.. finished up my purses..but am making more as they are so much fun...:)
