Gooooooddddd EEEvveeNNInngg!!! well I put up my black berry jam yesterday..did 3 batches..got 12 1/2 pints and 2 quarts..(couldn't find any jars small enough..so they will go to big families this year..I put them with my strawberry jam...I had a bit leftover for me..and I had some of it today..yummo!!!

I love the glow of this little lamp on my hutch..don't you all just love ambient lighting? just adds a nice warm glow to anything..

I did a swap with Margie of Hungry hook primitives..I wanted wool and she got my little dustpan penny cover...I love my wool and I can't wait to use it..Margie your package went out on monday.;) thank you again for agreeing to do a swap..a gal can never have tooo much wool.;)

I did some sewing today for Carmen and her new grandson..mailing them off tomorrow and hoping they get there by saturday...will share these when she gets them.;)

well I am off to the showers and then making arugula pesto pasta with chicken..been craving carbs..but i did buy the whole grain pasta..so I won't feel so guilty..

I have lost another pound..only 2 away from the big 5-0!!! I can do 2 miles in 35 minutes on the treadmill now..and I am feeling wonderful..I have so much energy now..its amazing..I am working on my 2nd penny rug for that other swap I am doing..almost done..will share it soon as its done..Have a wonderful rest of your day and I will see you all tomorrow.;)

Good Monday morning everyone!!! I hope you all had a great weekend..I did some stitching and actually got the top piece finished last night and got another one cut out (see below) its a winter one..I am doing a swap with a gal that I purchased one of her halloween items last year and she does a fantastic job of painting..Her name is Jan..and I asked if she would be interested in doing a swap..she said sure..so I am getting some cute prim halloween items from her..one for me and one for my sister..in turn I made her the rug above and starting the one below..she has to get gifts for her family as well..so its a win win all the way around..I so love swapping.:)

I finished stitching this little funny pumpkin..now I need to make a pillow and sew this onto the front.;)

here is the other one that I am making for Jan..at the bottom it will say In the Meadow...and you know the rest.:)

and I am making some wool felt fall tags..these will be added to my etsy shoppe when they are done..wouldn't they look cute on a tree branch twig for your prim halloween/fall decorating..

Well Hubby just got back from his vacation in Utah seeing his folks..he went fishing with his dad for 3 days and they caught like 75 fish..they released most of them..but he was able to bring home 6 huge trout and guess what we are having tonight for dinner?..you got it..fish..haven't had trout in years..said the fishing license more then paid for itself..as it would have cost more in the fish to buy them at the store.;)the other 5 are in the freezer..;)

Good Friday Morning everyone!!! hope your friday and weekend are off to a great start...These are projects I did a while back for Tamera of Country at Heart..and I didn't want to spoil her surprise ..but she has them now so I can show you..The 2 on the left she had seen but the one on the right she had not..

and she didn't know about this one either..(she told me what she wanted, size color etc)..but didn't know how it was going to look..her home is done in americana and has black accents..:)

Well I did some tweaking the other day..that little wooden box that I traded for a year ago from Lynn of painting thyme needfuls

it was in the upstairs bathroom..and I put it on the kitchen table..now its on the woodstove for the rest of the summer..it has all of the seasons of kittys on the box..;) I put my candles in it..a cute little vignette with the raggedys...

okay its starting..I put the wheelbarrow on the table and pulled out my autumn table runner that my friend kimmy made me back in 2002..I love it here...

then I did more tweaking..I added the old one handled collander to it..and now its perfect.

I swapped this bracelet for some of my items..I found this gal on etsy and she has the neatest bracelets and jewelry and I loved the saying on it..

It says Serenity to accept the things I cannot change...Courage to change the things I can: and Wisdom to know the difference.and the family tree..I love this...;)it also have little diamond like jewels around it..you will love her stuff.;)

the second shelf down in the back is where they hide..and Squirt (Timmy) is in there right now taking his nap..

they crawl in the back here between the wall..its their favorite spot when Mom's up here crafting.:)

I have been working out extra hard on the treadmill as I seem to be in a plateau of sorts..yesterday I did 50 minutes on the treadmill..going to do the same today..I am not eating any different..and I am working out harder and nothing. I am stuck at 47 pounds...but I will keep trudging through this..as I have worked to hard and I feel better then I have in years...so not sure what I need to cut out of my diet..may change it up..to break through..any way thanks for stopping by and leaving me comments..I love hearing from you..

Good Morning and good hump day!!! it is glorious here...loving this summer weather..not too hot and not too cold..just right as Goldilocks would say.;) I just have to share some photos of our newest addition and how well he is fitting in here...This was taken last night..I put down Tuckers food and the kitten (like Lucy) like to help him eat his dinner...and he is okay with it...I love him for that..I love seeing this..

Little Tim-Tim has found a purrffecctt spot for taking his naps..its in my fabric rack..he climbs around behind it and lays down..almost completely hidden from view..his two other sissys sleep here too..and last night both he and Lucy were sharing it..but there is too much playing in it..so he got out of it..

this was this morning in the tub..they love playing in the tub and playing in the drain...

his little stuffed kitty..looks just like him.Timmy was too busy playing with a piece of cheesecloth... and he has this habit of climbing up my leg when he wants up..yesterday...he was on the bathroom sink while I was putting on my make up..and I had my head wrapped in my towel..he jumped up on my back and got up on my head and was peeking over..I soooo wished I had my camera..I was completely hunched over and he was just sitting there all high and mighty..it was precious.;)

Beating the tar out of one another this morning..they are still in here with me...I get alot of help in here..;)

I did a swap with Renee of Recollecting the past.:) I just love this little wheelbarrow..think its going on my front porch and the gourd/pumpkin came from my friend Lisa of the davis Dialogues..:) we met earlier this year and she brought me lots of goodies including this gourd and another huge one.;) looks neat and would look neat with some bittersweet wrapped around it..but we don't have that stuff here..;)I am itching to decorate..but will wait till the end of september...but a few touches here and there may be making early appearances.;)

Last night a bunch of gals from church went and saw this movie..holy cow it was sooooo good..one of the best I have seen in years...if you haven't seen it you must..I hear the book is wonderful..my friend Anna lent it to me..so I am hoping to start it soon..she said it was right on the money..but little details on some things were left out..(cause you can't get in peoples heads)...other then that it was right on the money..we had a wonderful time and I love the gals that all went..I love my church and the people/gals that are in it..we are planning for another night out soon..looking forward to that..I also got to wear my new "layered" shirts last night..I love them!!! like wearing a 2nd skin..they are awesome..I have been doing a longer work out on the treadmill as I think it will help me with burning up the calories...I still have about 35 to go..but I feel so much better in the mornings now..not as stiff and achy..and that is a really good thing..well I am off of here to get my day started..I really want to do some sewing and creating today..and remember my sale in my etsy shoppe..15% off your purchase...type in laborday15 to get the discount.:)

Hello there everyone!! how is your monday treating you all today? we are doing well here..it is overcast and a bit drizzly today..I like days like this on occasion..means I can stay inside and not feel guilty..well this new mama ain't getting any sleep in two days..but its worth it as I am so in love with this cute little soul..he is asleep as we speak in my fabric bin you see above..I couldn't find him for 20 minutes today..nearly had me in a panic..I knew he hadn't gotten out..but then your mind starts racing..and you star to wonder...but I found him..hes been there for about 4 hours..he plays with Lucy like they have known each other all their lives..too cute..although lucy is almost double his size and only 1 months difference..she plays dirty..so gotta keep em in check..;)

believe it or not..he is in my shirt..I had to pin it to keep him in it..so I could keep my hands free..didn't last long though.;)

this is where he started nuzzling me and purring really big..you can see him "fat footing" it..he was in love me I need to nurse mode..and I he nursed on my earlobe..hasn't done it since..but it tickled and made me smile..

there he is finally catching some ZZZZZ's...we are naming him Timmy..it just fits him..although I loved Fred Astaire and Freddy for short..hubby didn't like it...he is our little timmy tim.;)

Hello there everyone..hope you are having a beautiful sunday!!! I just relisted some halloween/thanksgiving/christmas items in my shoppe..

The little man is fitting in nicely..slept with me all night long..snuggled by my side..he is playing well with his sissy Lucy..I love him..last night he suckled on my ear..and the purrs..OMG..they are music to my ears..;)

Happy Saturday to you all!!! I was out shopping yesterday..returning some items and I had to stop at petsmart to get Tucky some dog food..and it was after hours in the pet adoption area..but there was the cutest little kitten there in his kennel all by his lonesome..just playing with his little mouse toy..and I fell in love..We have been thinking that our adult kittys just don't want to play with Lucy..and she needed a playmate..so I came home and told Hubby about this cute little one..he said get him..so I drove like the wind this morning to go and see if he was still available..they gave him the name "bowser"..so not keeping that one..he has a little tuxedo going on..and he needs a real name..(a persons name)..so if anyone has any thoughts..here he is with his sister Lucy..I am told he is 3 months old..so he is 1 month younger then Lucy...he is a little thing....

but so full of energy..doesn't he have the cutest little pink nose....

and he is a "stumpy"..and has the longest back legs ever..I think he is a manx..but the gal said that his other siblings had long tails..well mama's have multiple daddies sometimes..sooo...that is what I think..

we played peek-a-boo behind my thread box on the couch..he has not taken a nap yet since I got home at noon..maybe a cat nap..but he has not zonked out yet..he seems to like his new big sissy...he has nicknames already..Rumplestillskin, bisquit, Ricky..you know Lucy and Ricky..and he is a good little eater..infact he is eating right now..the older ones..Millie and Gracie and Sunny aren't sure about him yet..but Millie is peeing everywhere..and I am finding it and cleaning it..she is fast becoming an outdoor cat..we just can't seem to shake her of this..very frustrating to say the least..just not sure why she is doing this when she plays with Lucy..never had this before..but hoping with a new kitten the focus is on him..it can't get any worse..its already happening.:(...but will see what time brings)..I know that I am a smitten kitten with this we little one..he was just sitting on my lap and snuggled into my neck, I think to nurse..our little sunny is a neck nurser.. I just put him up to my ear just now..and he started nursing it...and it tickles..and he is purring up a storm..I am In LOVE!! shouting from the roof tops..I am smitten!!!

I ordered these from JCPenneys and the came yesterday..I love em too.. love all the buckles..

I stopped at Target yesterday to return pants that my sister got me..they were too big...so I went looking for replacements or some shirts..I had been wanting those "layered" look shirts where the tank underneath is a big longer and the top outside is a bit shorter...and you can see the underneath on the bottom and in the chest area..oh I hit the jackpot..so I got 4 of the outer shirts..

and 3 of the tanks for underneath..so now I can mix and match these..looking for some cooler weather so I can wear them comfortably..;)

and I came across this really cute cardigan..and they were only $15.00 dollars..

so I got one in red..;).it is so nice to be able to go to any store and know that something is going to fit...I love clothes..but I think I am done for the time being..:)

I think this kitty pile has found me..(not sure why this is blue and underlined..oh well..
