HoW waS yOuR DaY?

It all Started this morning when I
Made breakfast for the cranky youngsters and fed the baby a bottle

She dribbled milk all over herself and my new shirt

I loaded up the kids in the car seat and took them to daycare & school

I was late for work, and traffic was a nightmare

My husband called my cell phone to tell me
he got laid off from his construction job

I got to the office (I'm a Tech Analyst)

My supervisor chewed me out
for misplacing the mouse

Left work early to pick up my new eye glasses (wrong size))

I then picked up the kids from school & daycare

Fed them all a quick meal

And, then the girls to tap & ballet

When we got back home, all they wanted to do was watch TV

and, sing karaoke instead of doing their homework

After much chaos, they took their baths & got ready for bed

Then I read them their nightly bedtime stories

They finally went to sleep

Now, I think I'm getting a migraine..

and, a runny nose

After a long and grueling day, I crawled
into bed and was just drifting off when

I realized I had forgotten something

Dear Lord, despite the topsy-turvy day
I've had, I give thanks to you and

For all the blessings you've bestowed upon me and my family.
And next week, I'm off to the spa and pool for some
much-needed rest and relaxation with my girlfriend

That's how MY life is going......so, how are things with YOU?

Okay this is my first mixed media project ever! and I am having the time of my life...I love this stuff...I need your opinion though..I am wondering what trim to put around the frame.

Tammy at Country girl at home. had an interesting blog entry the other day..she was asked to write about the things she loves using the letter H..I told her I would give it a try with the letter "L"..I have to name 10 things..
1. I love my Husband..He is such a wonderful provider and loves our babys like I love our babys..and I love watching him play with them..just last night Tuc got a little rambunctious and bit him 4 places on his face and he didn't get mad...he bled too...
2. I love my babys...They mean the world to me and I love being their mama.
3. I love to craft...I just wish I could sell it..
4. I love to blog..my gosh it has almost taken over my life..but I love the great people I have met doing it...
5. I love my best friend Kimmy..we always have a blast together..just wish I could spend more time with her..
6. I love the Lord..(I actually used 2 letter L's there)..I do love him and all that he blesses Mike and I with..
7. I love (this is getting harder now)...learning new things....I get so much inspiration from you talented folks out there...
8. I love gardening...
9. I love Spring..love seeing all the bulbs and the new life starting..
10. I love you all that come each day to read my ramblings..
Now if you are interested in a letter just let me know..I suppose I cheated a bit..cause I had an easy letter..but hey..it didn't say I couldn't use it.. :)

I'Ve GoT MaiL..And OTher DiDDys...

Yesterday the UPS gal brought me a package and what to my wondering eyes...it was my swap package from Michele!:) she totally spoiled me..this was my package before I actually got to the good stuff and when I peeled away the bubble wrap this is what I got!
nicely wrapped in tissue and little red ribbons...it was like Christmas all over again..I just love my gifts that she made me...

here it is all unwrapped and ready to enjoy! I got chocolate and candy word hearts and cupcake cups and little vintage like tags to put on my cupcakes..they are too cute..will probably use them in my doll making in some way.I got 3 large handmade hearts that I just love! I got sprinkles to put on my cupcakes and I got a valentine tag that she made and 4 little hearts 2 of which are felt and they are sweet! I also got a valentine rubon and a little candle holder with hearts around it and 2 candles to burn..and I got the sweetest little hankie..This was so much fun..Michele is hopefully getting hers next week..so I have to kick it in high gear and get going on the last few projects..

here is all of my items on my valentine tree that Renee gave me at christmas time..I wrapped the hankie around the base and put all of the hearts on the tree..doesn't this look fabulous!..it will look so cute for my Scentsy party tomorrow night..I want to put twinkle lights on my tree for even more bling..will have to search...

Here is what I made for Dinner last night..it is called Hillbilly Spaghetti pie! I got this recipe on Ruthann's blog. and decided to give it a shot...I even went out and got me a new cast iron skillet too..it is a Paula Dean one. This recipe is super easy and doesn't it look so tasty!...well yes it was.. definitely a keeper in our book...so go and give it a shot...I would suggest a larger skillet then the one I have..mine is a 10 inch pan...so a 12 is better..

well I am going to try and get some stuff done today..tomorrow I clean house all day and bake and get ready for my party..today I get to make phone calls and see how many are actually coming...I invited 45 people...so far only a few less then 5 are coming....what is it about RSVPing any more..are folks waiting for something better to come along or do they just simply forget?..in any case it is frustrasting to say the least...and I am no angel either... but its like pulling teeth to get ladies to RSVP to something...so wish me luck for a great turn out..

WhaTcha WorKin on WedNesDay...and BaBy fuNNieS

I am selling this brand new DVD as we don't have a High Definition DVD player..my little sister got it for us for christmas..I put it in the player and it wouldn't play it...so if anyone is interested in this brand new DVD let me know...cause I can't use it...DH thought we had a high def player..but we do not..so there you have it...this is a 4 disc set. and it includes: FROM POLE TO POLE, MOUNTAINS, FRESH WATER, CAVES, DESERTS, ICE WORLDS,GREAT PLAINS, JUNGLES, SHALLOW SEAS, SEASONAL FORESTS, AND OCEAN DEEP.
Here is what I purchased on Monday when I had a reprieve from the Tucker...Mike took him to work with him and I took advantage of going shopping with "my Kimmy"...that is what I call my best friend...I hadn't seen her in over a month...and I needed my Kimmy fix..we met at Joanns..again are you surprised? we always meet there...lol..I bought yes can you believe it? more fabric...but who can resist and it was on sale..I see a purse for the blue kittys and latte and the polkadots..I love it!..I think the other fabric is going to be a casserole carrier for my dear friend Peggy..her birthday is coming up and I just know she will love this...I also bought some more yarn that I will use for felting...don't know what I will make..I also bought some embroidery thread to do some stitcherys with..I bought alot of patterns from Kellie at Chestnut Junction...I am itching to do some of these...I am asking permission as we speak if I can paint them as well...I bought my embroidery hoop too.. in pink..and I bought some valentine plates and napkins for my party this friday...I am having my SCENTSY candle party...if anyone wants to place an order it will get shipped directly to you...and it helps my party out..I had the link in one of my other entrys...so just go to scentsy
and go to my events then click on my party for the 30th of january and place your order...These candle warmers are just wonderful and I just love mine and I tell you the scent lasts forever...and no FIRE...that is such a huge plus!..heck its the only plus...I don't burn my place down..

Heres our little high energy Tucker/aka Tuckerman/Tucky finally settling down on the couch...he is growing by leaps and bounds in the last 2 weeks..but still goes berserk when Mike leaves the room..Just this morning as I was trying to get back to sleep once I got the DH up for work..he had to take his shower and Tuck lit up and started his piercing bark/howl/crying...I could hear the DH telling him NO and Tuck not listening...till he got out of the shower...he has never done this...so some days we get progress while others..well...I just hope he grows out of it soon...cause my nerves are getting shot...I will tell you all honestly...will never do a puppy again..it will be an older dog that has been potty trained etc..too old to go through this..he is still after 3 weeks...not fully potty trained and they tell us it will be 6 months to a year...so I am not a happy camper if this is the case...our last dog trained in 3 days...yes he was a prodigy...so I expect him to do it as well...but I know that I can't...so this Gwasshoppa needs to learn some patience..:)

Here is our Podylicious sitting next to me getting a love..she is not a lap child, never has been..but she does love to be loved and baby talked too..she is sitting here just purring...she makes my heart sing...(yes, I am a cat person through and through)...

Here is Tucker and our Oldest Otto Bisquit enjoying a nice warm fire...and Tucker is not trying to jump him...Otto stands his ground..but Tuc needs to learn to not jump on the kittys..so that is one we are constantly working on too..

Here is our Stanley Manley as we call him..he is our biggest Kitteh..he has the biggest roundest head and he has the sweetest girly meows ever...but don't let that sweet face fool you..he is a dirty fighter...hate to see him fighting too..as he can be such a love bug and he loves to snuggle under your clothing...the girls all swoon when they see this hunka hunka burning love comin....:)

here is Otto Bisquit and Tucker sitting on my lap..it is the best lap in town..just ask everyone that lives here..nice jammies huh..my bestest friend made them for me for christmas...they are so comfy...and warm...they are flannel....we both picked out the fabric together at Joanns...where else...and she made em...gotta love her..I was sitting there all happy and quietly knitting when these 2 decided it was "lap time"..

I bought these antlers at Petsmart at 75% off for Tucker next christmas...but I had to try them out now!.so Millie got to wear them..she was so pleased as punch too..she just froze and wouldn't move till we took them off of her...but isn't she sweet..

next is Sunny E Bunny she didn't like them either....but she looks so cute in them...

next up is Gracie Macie...she did not like them as you can see..so I had to hurry and snap his photo...we couldn't get Pody in them...and do you think we could get Tuc to sit still long enough with them on...oh he just thought they were too much fun on his little head and tossed em off..so hopefully next christmas he will be much mellower and will let us put them on him..I even got him his christmas toy for next christmas...hey you gotta get it while its 75% off...cheap I tell you...okay so we are bad parents...but it sure was funny...

Here is Sunny E Bunny enjoying a nice toasty robe...(there is a heating pad) underneath it..so all the cats get a chance..it is supposed to be for Otto and to keep him warm since he has a new hairdo and all..but as you can see they all enjoy it...did you know that I (heart) my sunny bunny...:)she is sitting right next to me on the table as I type this...she is my blogging buddy... Okay gotta get the garbage to the curb as the hubby forgot and get my day going..I am hoping that Tuc will cooperate and let me craft today..it is a beautiful day so I am going to have to let the chillians out to play in it..they love their outtings...I hope your Hump day is a good one too...Take care for now...:)

How I SpeNt mY SaTurDay...

We spent yesterday taking out our hedges and we still are not finished...but we put a good dent in it..here are the before photos..we lost some when we had the big snow this last december and quite frankly..I am tired of the mess of the falling leaves...and they grow so flipping fast that we never shaped them..so ripping them out and putting in another garden bed..we love gardening (veggies) so this is what we are doing..and we may plant bamboo in pots instead...they will be much easier to handle..will see..
here is part of the aftermath..had to relocate it till we can cut it into smaller more managable pieces to put in the truck..so yet another project...

another view..this will be another tiered brick garden bed..can't wait..now i can grow my pumpkins and zuchinis again...or at least attempt too.. Tucker played in the dirt most of the day..ate a couple of dirt sandwiches..loved em..should have taken a picture...he was dirty..I mowed the lawn yesterday to mulch the leaves that were on the grass..(also helps me to find little doggy do-do's...lol...I don't want to step in em...it snowed last night..we got a heavy frost(ing) this morning..supposed to snow again this week..but I don't think we will have the bomb we got in december...have a wonderful sunday...
