ProJeCtS doNe, MoRe to Do and My NeW BooTs

 Hello there everyone!!! I hope your week is off to a good start..since hubby is off on sundays and mondays..my week starts on tuesday...to recap on saturday I got a truck load of bark for the yard..amazing at how little it covers..I will need another 4 truck loads to finish it off..but it was good exercise and with all the lily of the valley I pulled out for the 3rd time (and I have to pull yet more) of it..my day was spent doing just that..Sunday after church I crocheted 2 more hats..the other one was done on saturday night..I love making these hats..it is the easiest pattern and they whip up in about an hour or so..I am making dishclothes right now then more apple cozies..sending these to my MIL hopefully before mothers day..(this is for her birthday if you read a couple of posts..(in January)..Yesterday turned out to be a gorgeous day so we went for our 2 mile walk and then got ourselves ready to go shopping..and shop we did..

 remember this cowl? see photo below with me in it..it is an infinitiy cowl..and oh so snuggly and warm..I ordered a red one..will have it on thursday..

 well I am going to make these to sell at my shows and on line..I love this skully fabric...

 and the photo on this one isn't too good..I have some knits in gray (two shades and the floral and 2 in a soft fabric one in gray and black..I would like to get more of this..but in the sherpa fleece like mine is made in..so gotta do a little surfing I guess..we also hit a bulk food store and got some more food storage..100 pounds of rice, and other dried type items..we also purchased 5 gallon buckets with gamma lids to seal them up..we are going to get oxygen packets to put in them..Hubby has a thing he uses in his beer making that takes out air..so we will use that as well so this lasts for 20+ years...

 and this was a trip I wasn't expecting..we went to our local sportsman store and was told about a shoe shop that was not far from where we were..and I have been wanting a pair of cowboy boots..so we headed over there lickety split..and I got a pair of Ariat boots for my birthday that is in 11 days...:) I can't wait to wear these puppies with dresses and jeans...

I still would like a traditional pair of cowboy boots with the point..so the money I get for my birthday will go towards those.;) we went to dinner last night using a $10.00 birthday gift card from the restaurant that we love..they have the best burgers ever..and the fries..well they are just too tasty..so it was a splurge day..we try to go there at least once a month..its the only time we go out to eat..so on pay day thats where we go..I need to take my camera next time and take a photo of these to die for burgers to show you what I am talking about..
Well today I am headed out to get my teeth cleaned..then heading to wally world to get some more pots and dirt and seeds to plant some sunflowers and pot my containers that are looking pretty sad right now.;)Have a wonderful week and thanks for the nice compliments on my "red wig"..I so wish I could grow mine out..but my hair is just too thin for it and I just don't like the grow out stages..yeah I can diet..but I can't grow my hair..in fact I want to go ultra short..like a pixie cut..so maybe next time that is what I am going for..we shall see.;) have a good one everyone.;)
