EasTer SuNdaY..SpeNt wiTh GreaT FriEndS..

Good Morning my fellow bloggers!!! it is turning out to be a pretty day..my friend is coming for a visit..so we are going walking..Here is our Easter recap..on Saturday I made these delicious "big" cookies to take over to our friends house for easter.. they are called Oreo Stuffed Chocolate chip cookies..and they are super easy to make..you make the batter seperately and then mold it around the oreo cookie..they used a scoop..I found it easier to just use my hands as it kind of softens the dough so you can mold it around the oreo easier..(I didn't use the double stuff) just the regular oreos..and wouldn't these be good if it was peanut butter cookies with an oreo..I'm just saying..:)
here they go in the oven..also it says 9-13 minutes..I found because they were so big they needed about 15-18 minutes..just check your oven..
and here you go the finished product...we each had one on saturday night and they were a big hit with the kids and adults..I did not have a one on sunday..infact the only thing I went back for seconds wise was her raspberry jello salad..:) oh that was good..
Sarah made the girls their little skirts and they picked out the fabric..wish Sarah had stayed in her dress as she made hers as well and it was amazing..she is very talented...
Little Miss Nataly posing..she is such a little model and loves to play dress up..and wear makeup..
Here is Nykol..she just celebrated her 9th birthday last week..I made her 2 twilight pillows..she is a huge Edward fan..she even got an Edward birthday card..they all went and did the "build a bear" thing..they came home with some cute bears..but holy cow are those things expensive to make..it all about the accessories...
Here is little Naylin all pooped out..

He started to stir in this one..so we snapped up a shot..
I tell you once he woke up there was nothing stopping him..all 3 for that matter..we had a wonderful dinner of chicken, ham, garlic parmesan mashed potatoes, roasted veggies (I did the tators and veggies) deviled eggs..i had 3..oh I could have eaten them all, raspberry salad, green salad, and my cookies..great food shared with some really awesome generous people..
they also made Mike and I this easter basket..
mostly filled with fruit and that plum...was tasty..the big box of chocolates are in the freezer and I have had one of the lindt chocolates..really trying to stay away from the sweets..but I know I can have them..just trying to be good..well that is it for me..I will be back tomorrow to share what new project I am working on for my brothers birthday...I hope you all have a wonderful tuesday..;) ours is looking up here.;)

  8. Love the cookies and will have to tell Nellie about that..she loves to make CChip cookies and loves oreos..Does the filling in the Oreos melt when you bake them. Love the little girls in their pretty little dresses...they grow up way to fast.
