TweAkinG, and DeCoRaTinG...aNd WhAt I haVe BeeN uP tO..;)

Good Thursday morning everyone!!!! this week has flown by again..the holidays seem to do that don't they..next week I am baking up a storm to get holiday goodies done..gotta get some sewing projects done and out the door..two blogging gals are waiting..and I have to get christmas gifts made and out the door too.;) the photo above is a cute little fireplace screen that I purchased some years back..I did make a few of these to sell..and this one is going up in my etsy..it would make a cute "tree surround" too..
I made these cute little prim wax ornaments..they too will be listed in my etsy site shortly..
this is what I am working on in the evenings..I started this last night...all with using my Sizzix diecuts...pretty cool huh? there are going to be decorative beads on the skates and maybe on the trees to look like lights..i will get his listed on my etsy site too..
I got this idea from sugar pie farmhouse..she had milk jars filled with salt and put in candy canes..:) so I thought I would give my hand a try at it. you will love this gals house..I so would love to live there.. you will love love love her home.;)
and here is an antique jar filled with salt and candy canes..I love the crispness of the colors..
I finally used my new table cloth that I purchased from Tammy...I love this table cloth..this is how I set the table for my company the other day..;) little felt holly napkin rings..my silver and red charger plates..green and red goblets to drink from..I love how this turned out..
well with all those electric candles that I got from Factory direct (remember 4 were free) I seen this idea on someone elses blog..so I took stained cheesecloth and wire and a grapevine start and wrapped it up and put a hanger on it..can you see my little vintage gingerbread cookie cutters..I found a home for them on Carols rack..I love this thing..:)
another candle hanging from my blanket crane..also from Carol of firecracker kid..I love her stuff..and I hope I win her giveaway..;)
This is the stocking I made for Tammy to go with her others..this is for Luke..the other side is red, white and blue..( I lost alot of pictures in my "blog" folder) have no idea where they went..so you will have to stop by Tammys when she posts it to see Lukes stocking hanging up with the rest.;)
and speaking of winning giveaways!!! I won these little cuties today from Crafty Stitchers giveaway they had..I was their 4th day winner.;)they are doing 12 days of giveaways.;)..they will be finding a place on my tree when they arrive..Well we are getting more rain as we speak..in fact we lost power again yesterday for 1-1/2 hours..so I got some patterns prepared so I can get making some cute snowmen...Well that is it for me today..tomorrow I will share the outside decorating with you all...I hope you are enjoying your day and staying nice and toasty where ever you are!! welcome to my newest followers...:>) have a great day everyone.;)

  8. Been catching up on your posts! Love your decorations! Saw the post about Christmas in the Country...remembered seeing the pumpkin head snowman. And the ONE prim booth...I bought a few things from her. One of her fat round Santa sitters and a snowman. Now I'm headed over to check out those ornies on your Etsy site! ~~Annie
