My HaLLowEEn HoMe..;)

Good Morning !!! Here is the Big reveal on the "inside" of my home..I will tell you it is picture heavy so hang onto your brooms and enjoy the ride.:>)..This is the kitchen..I got this witch that I just love at a place in utah when I went home for a visit 4 years ago..the trick or treat plate came from the same place. the witch sign from another place in utah..The place that I got the witch is called Taipan trading ..they have a website but you can't purchase from it..:( they have them in utah and california.. This store is flipping awesome..I lost my mind in there...they had the best stuff for the best prices...if you have one near you..you must run there..I had to ship all this stuff home in like 2 boxes..but it was sooooo worth it.:)
Kimmy made me the cat above on the shelf,,
I got these little dolls from Barefoot primitives..you will see more of her stuff below..I won it in an auction on ebay earlier this year..:)
Here is my big witch that I love..she is set up on the vanity when you come into my home..she is all set up to make her majik potions etc..
I made the cauldron and the book..That game board came from Goldieloo's works I believe..it is a fun game to play..but I have yet to master it...just call me gwasshoppa.;)
she has her trusty 8 ball to make the really big decisions..her pestol to mix up the potions..and her book that has the recipes...:)
this is my kitty cat scarf wrapped around a witch hat on the lamp..gives of a spooky glow.:)
my prim star from Joanns..I also have a pumpkin bell on the door...our old dog used to ring it when he needed to go to the bathroom..;)
my trick or treat sign and pumpkin..not sure if I got the sign from that place or another fun one in utah.;) that was my best shopping spree ever..must go back next year..hoping to for my 30th high school reunion..I can't believe I am saying 30th..eeewwwwhhh..;)
I have my candy corn kitty and my wreath (not shown) on this chair now..I had to remove my wreath from the front door for something i got from Jenn in the swap that I will share with you all tomorrow.;)
my martha stewart vinyl stickem's...
These 3 little pumpkin dudes are also from barefoot primitives..I got the best deal from her..they were up for auction and I was watching them..I forgot and noticed they hadn't sold so I emailed her and asked if she still wanted to sell them..so I got them and some candy corns and those little dolls in my kitchen window all for 25.00..:) it was a huge steal..and I could not wait to put them out this halloween..and I knew just where I wanted them too.;)
the little black box came from taipan..
my little pillows from joanns..the cat came from a swap years ago..
Here is Jenn's little doll that I got from the swap a couple of weeks ago..I made the kitty that is sitting on her lap..
my hutch getting its "halloween on"..I have a halloween runner on the bottom shelf..the kitty in the center is from Patrick of Creator's touch on WSOAPP he makes the neatest things..this kitty is reversible..one side smiling and the other side frowning..I can put a electric tea lite in it for a nice glow..;)
I made the huge pumpkin on the left..the kitty cat candy bowl came from Aunt Mannys Creations we did a swap years ago..and its hat comes off to put candy in..the big cat came from Michaels..the sign in front from one of those wonderful stores in utah..and my witch in the bowl with the saggy boobs came from my best friend Kimmy;)

I made the goofy pumpkin face..;)
Jenns Kitty moved from the chair to the peg board above.;)
I made the prim blessing sign years ago.my pumpkin scarecrow lights are hanging..:)

a blurry picture of the stairwell..I made the big witch from a kentucky primitive pattern..they are fun to make..she has a place to put an electric tea light..
Kimmy made me the pillow.and that framed picture I got at my grocery store..but they had them (a different one) its a guy at Joanns..they have sound..and this one is earie.,;)
she lights up and her eyes glow red and her face changes and you hear a little girls voice saying help me..its dark in here..you can see her face in the top right corner..it scares the dog..:)
and last on the list..my pumpkin longaberger basket filled to the brim with all that candy that I got the other day.and a little wheelbarrow with pumpkins that my mom got me years ago when she came to visit at my last home..:) well I hope I haven't bored any of you..I am saving the outside decorating for tomorrow..
I had a request from Anne F to share the pumpkin raisin bar/cake recipe..so here you go!!!:)

Pumpkin Raisin bars
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1 (15 oz.) can (2 cups) pumpkin
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup raisins
Frosting:
1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 (3-oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 TBSP. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15x10x1 baking pan*.. In a large bowl combine all bar ingredients except nuts and raisins; beat at low speed until moistened...Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in nuts and raisins.
2. Pour into greased pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.. cool completely.
3. In a small bowl, combine all the frosting ingedients; beat until smooth. Frost cooled bars. store in refrigerator. Makes 48 bars.
*to make pumpkin raisin cake (like I did), use a 13x9 pan and bake for 40-50 minutes.

Well that is it for me..I hope you enjoyed your tour..I have lots to do today..I have my pork ribs marinating in a dark beer..then I will boil/simmer them on the stove for at least an hour before I slap them on the barbie with bbq sauce..they are so yummy this way..if you haven't tried this you must..they are fall of the bone tender..and you don't need to cook them on the barbie but to really caramelize the bbq sauce...they are fab!!! have a great friday and a great weekend.;)
