GarAgE SaLe and CrITTeRs...

Its a beautiful morning here in Washington...at least where I live..I can hear the birds singing..never tire of that..On my way home from church yesterday just 8 houses from where I live they were having a garage sale..so I stopped to see what I could find..probably the best garage sale (only because of the bargains that I picked up)..the guy was selling off his grandmas things and was giving it away practically..I got these 2 sherbet cup..all had price tags of $5.00 each...not what I paid..

going to prim this up..:)

just love the colors on the plate..will have to hang this in the dining room..;)

look at this wonderful silverware..will be going through my old cheap stuff and getting rid of it..

a thing to hang under a cabinet to hang your cups on..might just go in my craft room to hang stuff on it..maybe a little drying rack when I am painting..Okay now do you want to know what I paid for all of this..I couldn't believe it when I was adding up all of this..as there were price tags on all of it..it came to $75.00 for all of this...I paid...(drum roll)......$5.00 for the whole thing..:) I cleaned up..its all I had in my wallet and he was giving it to me for $4.00..but i picked up the thing above and he gave me more silverware..so he got the extra dollar..;) SWEET!!!!!..

Yesterday as I was putting the outdoor kids in the garage for the night..I heard some fluttering towards the window and knew it was a bird..not sure how he got in..but thinking way of a cats mouth..(hate it when they do this) know its nature and all..I just don't like having to clean up their messes..you with cats know what I am speaking about..so I moved everything to get to him..got a bucket and he went in..got him outside and put water down for him..and there was left over food on the stump from earlier..he was exhausted...I kept a watch on him for about 15 minutes then noticed him turn over on his tummy and he took his last breaths..I petted him till he passed away..Just broke my heart..he seemed okay...so I took him in my hands and buried him...I truly thought he would be fine..(this is the part I hate having to clean up of my kittys messes)...

on a lighter note..this is what I found in my mailbox feeder...this little guy looked like he was having so much fun in it..the flash didn't work with the zoom lense though..but they are so goofy and I love watching these guys..

I hope your day is off to a great start...I am going to mow the lawn today and that is it for yard work..gotta get some orders done as well..been putting them off for way too long..and gotta start getting some stuff done for a show next month..take care and I hope your day is off and running.;)
