Well here it another whatcha working on wednesday and this is all I have to show for it..other then working on the garage and shed...This has taken so long doing this checkerboard pattern but this part is almost done..got 2 more rows and then to the rest of it..but I am only working on it at night and not everynight..but trying...

Last night was glorious! I took the babies outside for their evening siesta to play in the cooler temps at 5:30pm to run around..the indoor babys love their outings..Mike and Tucker came home from work and we enjoyed our evening..We ate dinner on the patio (first time of the season) and it was so nice..and Dinner was so tasty...I must say....it was good..I sat outside and read my magazines and chatted with Mike and we finally came in at 8:30pm..it is supposed to get to 90 today..so staying in and trying to get something done..Talked to my pal in crime Robby from Scotland..I just love that gal..she makes me laugh and we have so much in common it is scary..gosh don't get us together it will be hell on our checkbooks...:) we had a nice talk for an hour...Well that is it for me..Going to close down the house so it stays cool...have a wonderful wednesday everyone...:)

  1. You have made a lot of progress on your checkerboard! I don't know if I could handle all of that but it's going to be so nice. I like switching colors and stuff too much and seeing lots and lots of progress. I love looking at counted cross stitch but I don't know how I would do with actually DOING it! LOL

    Have a great day :)

  6. That does look like alot of work. The older I get, the harder it is for me to cross stitch. I think I need new readers AND a magnifying glass!

  7. Really like that checkerboard. Your fingers must need a catnap of their own.
It will be worth it when it is done, I'm sure.

    Always like your posts.

  8. Wow...you guys are having warm weather out there...here it is just thunder storms morning noon and night. Awful humidity and all. I love seeing all the pictures of your kids (kitties). They all look so content and happy. I miss the Northwest! Pam
