Hey there everyone!! our Fall Celebration on Etsy is underway and we have some wonderful stuff up for grabs..and I spotted this little beauty and couldn't resist it...This will be going on my kitchen stove when it gets here..Jan from Raggedy Jan's made this..she has some pretty wonderful stuff...this is her photo..will post mine when I get it in my kitchen.;) I will turn it around after halloween and just sport the fall pumpkins..
I spotted this on sweetpea's primitives..and I couldn't resist this either..so I will put this either in my bathroom to decorate for the seasons..or put it somewhere downstairs..it might go on the kitchen table..not sure.;) its a converted breadbox..
thought I would show you what we have done on the table so far..hubby glued the legs bases together and then sanded it down..below is what it looks like today..I stained it..it looks so pretty..just gotta get the top done and then its going in my kitchen.;)I am going to refinish the kitchen chairs in black I have decided..been wanting to do it for a long time..might have to sand these down as the stain isn't "sticking" well..what a huge pain..but it will look great when they are done..;)

We stopped by wallyworld today and I picked up some cute aprons..as I want to embroider on them..I have some really cute Grilling designs I am itching to make..these would make great gifts for christmas..will post them when I get them done.;) I also picked up the orange towel set..came with 2 big towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths..all for $5.00..they are on clearance..they also had black..;) well our day has been rainy and somewhat cold..on friday we had 84 degrees and today is like 61 degrees..I am sitting here getting the chills..:) I hope you all had a wonderful monday today.:) take care and thanks for stopping by..;)

  6. Love your new header picture Gina..and the tea kettle too. I have a kitchen table but need to pick up some chairs and just want some high back chairs (don't even care if they match) and then I will paint them. I wonder if I should paint the table too? I kind of like it the way it is (stained) Guess I will just have to show some pictures when I get them and ask for advice from my blogger friends. Only 21 days until we pick up the U Haul and I am counting. Having our moving sale this coming week end and maybe the next week end too.
Hope I sell a lot so I can buy a fridge when we get back up to IL

  10. Gina,

LOve the teapot. Jan is a fantastic painter. I've been following her work for years when she sold on ebay. Love what Lottie did to the breadbox, very clever idea. Table is looking good, can't wait to see the final piece.

We are having absolutely beautiful weather here....cooler and sunny...yeah! Although they have said a few more 90 degree days may be coming our way!

    Have a great day.

  14. Oh dear, dangerous places to visit for sure! So much wonderfulness!! Did you buy anything for the babies?!? What?!?!! Better get back online and buy them something like a catnip mousie or treats.....

"She" says those chairs WILL be wonderful in black, but can sympathize with you on the sanding and painting. "She" told me to warn you about the nightmares that will follow memewmewmew. And the table is beautiful - will the top be big enough for me to lounge on? Just asking....

I hope you have a grand day!

    Purrs!

P.S. - Thank you for the nice comments!
