SwaP GoOdiEs giVen To A FrIenD..

Hey there everyone!!! I did the prim pals swap in April and met a great Gal names Rie..she live in Virginia and she and I were swap partners..(I showed you what I got from her in a couple of posts down)..I had to wait till she got hers to show you what I sent her...I made her a chicken apron with red polk-a-dot trim..I love how this turned out...
I embroidered her initial on the pocket..I love how it matches the chickens...:)
I also embroidered a chicken towel for her that looks like toile and a coffee towel int he old retro sayings..it says: Coffee, you can sleep when you're dead...:)
I also sent her some pink tissue to use in crafting..a chicken tablet with magnet for her fridge..I love these..they are what I use for my shopping lists...I added a little tissue holder that I made using vintage fabric..and a Rooster print...I had so much fun putting this together for her...I have been working on my little sisters baby stuff and have a baby book done and have a couple more items to finish..of course I will show you all when they are done...Take care and have a wonderful thursday..:)

  3. I love it! Years ago as a joke I bought my daughter a ceramic chicken. It has become something of a joke between us and at Christmas I always try to get her something "chickeny." Hmmmm, might have to have you do a set of towels for me!

  4. Thank you for showing us what you sent Rie. What a great box of goodies she got. I love the apron and the tea towels. I really need to get my embroidery machine up and running. Poor thing hasn't moved since we moved here a year ago. I'm a bad girl... lol
