my TS finds..I think these were like 2-3 dollars each..and they have the lids..which is sometimes hard to find..
I just picked up the fireking sunflower bowl a couple of weeks ago out TS makes me smile..I love bowls..
this bowl my friend gave to me as a thank you for taking her daughter for a week..she was my little she is going to be 25...I love this bowl and love the colors...I almost sold glad I didn't..;)
my 3 longaberger bowls..
aaahhh more pyrex..I used to eat of similar ones when i was a kid..they made great cereal know the cereal where you put a ton of sugar and it all floated to the bottom..and it tasted so good at the end with the milk..;) sorry for the saran wrap..leftover cream of mushroom soup in that one from dinner last night..that and grilled cheese sandwiches..
I got these as well as for salad plates from my friend Carolee..they just kept calling me till I finally bought them..we use these for our spaghetti and big salads...they are my favs!!
More fireking..I started collecting these back in friend Selena had started collecting it and I thought it was I did these for icecream bowls..and soup..

  1. Great pics Gina! I looove that first bowl! I just sold my little red and white pinwheel quiltie on etsy... it would have looked GREAT with that bowl!

    And sweet towel... :)

    Have a great weekend!

  2. Hey Gina, I have the red and blue
bowls in the pic of your cereal
bowls, they belong in a set with
two bigger ones, the green is
bigger than the red one and then
there is a huge yellow one. I
also have some extras of them.
I need one more green one and I
will have two sets of them.
    Have a great weekend.

  3. The Pyrex bowls are my favorites although I don't own even one piece. You just don't see the old stuff like yours around anymore.
Another beautiful towel. I just love what you do with them.
    Enjoy your weekend,

  4. wow Gina you got alot of great bowls! I love the rooster towels too, very pretty! Enjoy your day and weekend:)

  5. Love your bowls, and yes I have some of them. The ones with the handles (soup bowls) I have never seen them before. Will have to be on the look out. Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Wow! That's a lot of bowls! My favs are the ones with lids ~ love the colors in them!

That towel is awesome! I love how you can take an ordinary towel from Wal Mart and make it into a piece of art! They always look like something that came from a high end specialty store or botique!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  7. I so adore all your Pyrex. Slowly but surely I'm getting more and more and I just LOVE them so much. I got rid of all my plastic and tuppeware and using only glass. Blessings.

  8. I have the set of pyrex wheat bowls like in your first photo. There are four sizes. I got them as a wedding present 30 years ago. I did break one several years ago. I have other sets that I've inheirted from my hubbies grandma. Also have a set of the turquoise covered casseroles which I love!

  9. I LOVE those Pyrex bowls. My mom has some that I might inherit one day. Hers are brown, but have lids. Love the red ones and blue ones the best I think. Your towels are wonderful too. So much fun peeking into someone's kitchen.

  10. Gina,
Love your bowls!! One of my close friends collects Pyrex...and she is always on the look-out for them at the thrift shops and the GW.
Love the rooster towel!! I purchased that design too, but have not stitched it out on anything yet. I was finally in the mood to embroider today and couldn't because it stormed. Bummer!!
    Have a great weekend.

  11. My Gram had some of these bowls. I like how you hold on to memories of who you got the bowls from or where you got the bowls. It is so nice to find I am not the only one like that. Have a nice weekend!

  12. I'm pea-green with envy. It's like mission impossible to find anything here like those gorgeous bowls.

  13. Hi Gina,
Those little handle bowls with lids are perfect for baby food. I LOVED using them when my son was a baby-- easy to feed him from and then store the leftovers in. Happy memories.
