aLiCe In WoNderLanD FaN?

Above are the fabrics I purchased on line thanks to my good pal Shirley finding the site for me..now I can finish up my wall hanging that I started.. and just in time for the New movie to come out..are there any Alice in Wonderland fans? I would love to see this movie..as the book was really out there..so I be the animation is amazing..I have been busy getting my surprises out the mail..I sent off 5 packages this week..and do you think I got photos of the stuff I made...nope, only 2 that are below..in too big of a hurry to get to the post office before it closed so everyone could get their packages by Valentines day...:)
This is one I made for a valentine swap and my partner was Renee of Crows Roost Prims..I made this kitty out of a thrift store sweater and machine embroidered the key shaped heart using glow in the dark threads..it looks all to be one color but there was a peach color, lavender and a light green that all glow...she also got a valentine pillow that I embroidered with some chocolates...
This little vampire bunny was for Carmen at Waxed out creative life. She loves Bunnys and I also made her a pillow (no photo) that was machine embroidered that says she loves her German Shepherd..I hope she will post it so you can see it...she also got chocolates...
Well yesterday I had my 3 good pals over for a valentine lunch..I made enough potato/macaroni salad to feed an army..so they were able to take some home..I made little fudgy chocolate cake in my mini bundt pans from pampered chef..they turned out so yummy..I put a vintage little valentine card pic on each..(I got these from a valentine swap I did last year) and was finally able to use them..along with chocolate heart shaped sprinkles.. so I made steak to go along with everything and it was nice to sit and visit..I made each of the ladys a Valentine pillow with a different design that I purchased from heartstrings embroidery..I just love her designs..they are prim and simple and turn out so cute..they of course got chocolates as well..and Heather brought me some chocolate oreo Truffles..OH MY GOSH is all I can say..they are so good and so yummy that I am going to share this recipe as you won't believe how simple and easy and oh so tasty that they are..heck whip up some for your Valentine..:)

Oreo Truffles
1 package of oreo cookies
1 package 8 ounce cream cheese
put these in a food processor till mixed and cookies are crumbled in the cream cheese..roll into little balls (a melon baller would work too)
and dip in melted semi sweet chocolate..let the chocolate harden on wax or parchment paper..and then eat...they are so good with milk..:) let me know if you make them...you will love them..

Well that is it for me...I am going to sew and get a few more items/surprises made for Pickett and Dan and hopefully get those off this week...Tucker is feeling much better...the meds make him sleepy though..they think it was an allergic reaction to something...he goes in again next week for a recheck..:)
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by and saying hi..:)
