WhaTchA been WoRkIng On and StiLL WoRkinG On...

Here is the yummiest and easiest dessert ever!..I just made this about an hour ago..here is the recipe...
Quick and Easy Dessert
1 can of crushed pinapple 15ounce cans with juice
1 can pie filling..I wouldn't recommend the strawberry kind..not tasty..my favs are apple and cherry.
dump both of them in a 9x13 dish and mix around..then sprinkle on a white or yellow cake mix box on top..(dry)..I used vanilla cake this time..
then take 1 cube of cold butter and cut it up and put it all over the top. and take 1/2-1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts and sprinkle over the top.. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.. Serve with icecream or whip cream...I have a craft thing I am going to tonight at a friends house from church.we are trying to do a crafty thing a month..so far no one has called to confirm...so it just might be the 3 of us..I am teaching the class. it is on those jars you see below...I just went to chestnut junction and bought 19 stitchery patterns..I want to stitch some up and paint others..I can't wait to do these..put them on canvas...I see a shopping spree at joanns...:)
I made my kitchen curtains yesterday..I machine embroidered them.. a really cute prim design..they look so nice in the kitchen now..I left them white cause we have white in the kitchen and it looks fresh and clean...

cute huh...now I have my 3 sweat jackets to make and send on their way..will post them when they are done..

here are 3 of the 4 that I have made..

this one is going on my selling blog...

a side view...I hope you all are having a wonderful day..take care and until next time...:)

  1. Hey, Gina, that dessert looks delicious, wish I could come to your craft thing. You have really been busy & will be busy with all those patterns you just bought. Love your jars, too sweet.

  2. Gina...Do you ever slow down? You make me tired and fat just reading your posts....That dessert looks delectible! I could just rub it all over my thighs, because that is where it would end up on me...but then my pants would stick to my thighs and that would be way too uncomfortable!
Thanks for sharing it though, because it would make a quick and easy dessert to take to a get together!

I've made that dessert before and it is really good. We call it "Dump Cake".
Your curtains are so cute....love them!! After I get my kitchen finished, I'm going to put embroidery on the bottom edge of the shower curtain.
