Stanley Steamer...he is the softest,m squishiest cat ever...all the girls love him...humans and or cats...:)
This is Sunny bunny...she is the apple of her dads eye...she definitely fits her name...she loves to sit with me in the morning when I am blogging..course I think she just wants a snack...she too loves Stanley..but she is very shy around him...
here is a rudebecka from our garden...I just love these...
here is a flower from a pack of wild flowers..we have no idea what they are, but they fill like paper and they sound so dry...we love them...they are fascinating...mixed in with the catnip...
here is the ecchinachea flowers..I planted these last summer and they never came up till this summer...I love them....
here is a view to our front yard from the back...
Another view of that little patch in the yard...
Here's our littlest one.. Pumpkin, aka po-po, or pody..or pumpins...we just love her... we swear she barks...she will make this growly noise when she is playing that used to scare us..because we have never heard this before..now we just laugh cause we know she is having fun...
a view of the picket fence leading to the backyard...old thrift store plates some with mirrors and etching and others not..tea cups with succulents and wooden bees..and pretty annuals..
the complete view of the fence...backyard, garden, garden shed and wood shed..
a view of the garden...we have potatoes..the tall plant is our token artichoke plant with 2 artichokes...it blooms this really pretty purple flower...we just have it for the plant...
the other side of the garden...has nasturiums...look great in a salad and have a hot peppery flavor to them...and lots and I mean lots of arugula...its gone wild...I am hoping to make arugula pesto...if you have not tried this you must..it is hot and peppery..don't like it by itself..but in a salad or on top of a pizza...oh yumm...we first tasted this in Italy..and have been hooked ever since..we also have herbs in the upper portion..you just can't see it through all of the arugula...it is a tiered garden made of brick and painted red...we are tearing out the big hedge in back and adding another layer for gardening...
This is nasturiums and a form of a morning glory in purple..that is just so pretty together..it sits in the middle of the veggie garden...along with rudebeckas...

Oh I just had to throw this in..I was looking at fashion do's and don'ts and this is a don't of what not to wear in Seattle...dang, I had an outfit similar to wear....NOT...
anyway we have a nice breeze outside this august day..it is glorious...going to try and get some sewing done just as soon as I pick up the house for the day..hope you all have a wonderful weekend...
Ta-Ta....:)

I love your yard. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing I don't live in Seattle because I love to wear red fish net panty hose. Oh yes! I'm wearing them to teach my Relief Society lesson tomorrow. :)
By the way, I remember your monkey poo story. We never go to the zoo without my mom warning us about the monkeys.
Love the yard and the red barn looking building, honey. Those women in the "getups" though??? Aaaaaacckkkkkkkkk!!!!!!! Tasteless.....
