Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. Eskimo proverb

Our WaLk YeSteRday and PiLLoWs FiNishEd..

Hello there and welcome to my walk yesterday...;) we stopped by so Tucker could play with his pals Lucy on the left and Raphie in his bad to the bone orange and black skull sweater..
His daddy got him to pose for this one..Tucker and he played for like 30 minutes..made it nicer to walk..Tucker was well....Tuckered..;)

I loved this view of the water ahead..it was glistening so brightly due to our wonderful sunshine..it was so pretty yesterday..and is again today...doesn't get any better then this.:)
a great old car was passing by and I had to take a photo..

what are these? I have showed you photos before..but now you can reall see them as the plant part has died away..they are huge!!!
know what this is? I finally took my zuchini and grated it all up by hand...

I got 11 baggies of 2 cups each..so that will give me 22 loaves of big bread or a whole lotta little loaves..I will be making this for my holiday goodies that I give out each year to the neighbors...
Now if you really think I grated that all by hand you are mistaken..I bought this salad shooter years ago and it only comes out about once a year to grate up my zuchini..I would have been there all day long and my arms would have fallen off too...great tool...:)
Tucker finally got a bath and while he hates his bath..he loves being blowed dry..is he spoiled or what?
he has a nickname now..Mike calls him "Soul Train" because he sings the blues when he gets bathed..its more like a whine..
I found this little pumpkin goodie in my recipe file box and thought I would share it with you.
Pumpkin "pie" Potpourri
use a pumpkin incense burner to suggest the cozy scent of pie just out of the oven. Cut off the pumpkins top and scrap out the innards; carve round vents with an apple corer. Rub cinnamon or pumpkin pie spices onto the lid, or push cloves into it . With a lighted tea-light candle inside the pumpkin will give off a lovely fragrance for about 6 hours..
I finished up the last of the pillows...still got purses to finish..but gotta run to the store and get some added stuff for thursday..hoping it is quick..I love the little halloween pillow above..its one of my favorites..

This one is a cross stitch one..I love the shading details in these..but they are time consuming...have a wonderful day everyone and talk to you again soon...:)

  2. That punkin potpourri is the cutest idea! Loved the walk, gonna go rest now, LOL!!! Tucker has some tough lookin' buds there in the neighborhood, but he looks so soft and sweet after his bath:) My dog would be terrified of the blow dryer, lol...she doesn't even like ME using it:)

As for your dogs, I almost fell off my chair when I saw your baby with the sweater on!!! Oh my goodness!!!! That is the best!!! They are both adorable and, I can tell, extremely spoiled!! That's how all dogs should be. : ) Have a wonderful day!!

  11. Ralphie is one bad dude. (Bostons are my favorite breed!) I'd better not let my Darla see him. She has a thing for rebels.
Your pics are beautiful! Not sure what that is growin' but it looks like some kind of gourd maybe?
All my girls hate to get a bath but they are happier than a pig in sh*t when they get out runnin' all over the house like a bunch of lunatics.
    Your pillows are WONDERFUL!!!!
