SaTuRday DittYs...

I bought this yummy seasoning to make my own salsa!..This will save you money in the long run and it is yummy...All you do is take a 14 oz can of diced or stewed tomatoes add 2 heaping tablespoons of this seasoning and puree or not..and set in the fridge for 3o minutes...We used it on our pizza last night..and I think it would be great on pasta too...

I ordered some more stuff from Iblur

and I love it...I bought the new glitters and another set of large wings to put on my dolls..I can't wait to use this glitter...yum!!

These little butt cakes as my sister calls them, she made these for valentines day..I think she did a nice job on these and they are funny too...looks like she took a heart and cut off the point...she is so creative...

here is my latest mixed media sign that I just finished..the bird, flowers and butterfly are all 3-dimensional...This was done on canvas...

This one was done on wood..I will be adding these to my WSOAPP blog for our update on the 7th... MeEt My NeW FrIenD to ThE BLoGGinG WoRlD...

I found a wonderful person while looking for old fashioned labels while on ebay yesterday and I have made a new friend as well....Her name is Rene and she makes these incredible labels and they are priced just right and you also get a bonus set as her way of saying thank you! I had to ask her a question on Ebay about her items and we found we had so much in common etc..

Here are all the labels she makes and we are both brainstorming a way for you out there to make them more accessible etc..but that is still in the works...I told her she needed to get a blog and start putting herself out there...and guess what she did..I told her it would open up a whole new world for her and that it would become addicting...lol...I am teaching her the ropes on blogging..so please be patient...but stop on over and say hi...You will be glad you did...

We both have a passion for machine embroidery too...who knew...I am so amazed each and everyday at how much we have in common with folks and how we come to find these wonderful people...I know you will just love Rene, she also races cars...I have always dreamt of racing cars....:)

I ThOuGht It Was SprInG..WhaT I WoKe Up To...

Well I never saw this one coming...looked out my window at 7am this morning and had to take some pictures of snow!! we got about 2 inches here...It is noon and it is melting fast...

There is so much beauty in the snow..it just blankets you in all its whiteness...Just glad I had no where to go this morning..cause this chick won't drive in it...no sireee bob...so much for spring...:)

Went to Joanns to return some stuff and I had 5 coupons to use...so darn tootin..I am going to use these..it is like coupon abuse if I don't use these...so I bought a big metal star to hang in my bedroom..see photo below..it looks so good with my sign above my bed...I also got some colored shrinky stuff..and the little terracotta pot...those 2 are for a fun spring like project..I saw it on Creative Juice yesterday and thought I would give it a shot...they had another project on that day as well..using little wooden clip boards...I was told I could get these at Walmart...so when I make my returns I will see...Also thank you ladies for letting me know your opinion on the valances..I have chosen not to put up the valances and leave them as they are..I do love the warmth they exude...really added to the livingroom..amazing how color can do that...

Here are the cookies that I baked yesterday for Tuckers class..they seemed to go over well for everyone...including the little kids that were there...if anyone wants the recipe let me know...these are sooo good hot out of the oven and taste better then any store bought cookie..

I had to share some cute photos from yesterdays blogging...Sunny loves to be with me as I blog in the morning...and the fact that she gets to eat at my table she LOVES that...she loves to also walk in front of my computer so I can't see it very well..and she did yesterday...I was on farmhouse blessings blog and there is snow falling and she had to investigate it..

can she get any closer...what a little nut... Well Mike is sick with some sort of sinus infection...so he is miserable...on top of allergies..today started off cold and rainy and windy..and now at 3pm..it is sunny and gorgeous!... I even built a fire...my favorite thing...a fire, my breakfast and catching up on tv...okay gotta get cracking before Mike gets home from work..it has been so nice and quiet with him taking Tucker to work...just wish it would last...:) hope you all are having a wonderful day...Oh there is a link in my left side bar that you should go to..it is having fun with food storage..might just give you all some tips and hints and get your food storage in order...

iT FeeLs LiKe SpRinG....And CuRtaiNs...

Okay I bought new curtains for the living room recently and just put them up...I love them and they add so much warmth and color to our room..its not like I needed any more color..but the colors are the exact colors on our walls and in the dining room...so how could I resist...now my dilemia is I also bought valances..shown below 2 photos down..My hubby likes it without valances...I would love your opinions out there..what do you think? valances or not?

Well I thought I would post some spring time going on in our yard right now...This primrose is in my vegetable garden and is always the first thing to bloom..and it is the only one blooming in the yard right now...I have alot of primroses native to our state and this is the only one blooming...

Here is another little delicate plant blooming right now..I do not know what they are called but I just love them...little white blossoms..there is about 4 blooming up by the front gate...

Here are the crocuses blooming in my neighbors yard..and they are the first to bloom in her yard..I just love all the vibrant colors..and there are so many..

Here is my little helper..Stanley Steamer just loves to be with us and loves to help...he is a big social butterfly that is soft and squishy and makes us smile...he is rolling in the gravel because I am trying to get his photo....

Here is Margarita or better known as margy fargy (said like go not geez)...make sense...she is sunning herself on the front porch in her little bed....that is where I find her most days...Today started out so sunny and pretty and has gotten a bit breezy and over cast..go figure this is washington...

Okay here is Tucker with a pacifier in his mouth..yes they were out on a early morning walk and came upon this pacifier..Tuc carried it in his mouth most of the way..so we were trying to get a photo of it in his mouth..what a little stinker...tonight is his 2nd class (kindegarton) for him..I am baking giant snickerdoodles to take to class for all the adults...isn't that what moms are supposed to do..bring treats...Lol..making some returns at Joanns and getting a few things..I was up early...okay 8:30am is early for me..but I am a night owl..had a crappy nights rest as Mike kept snoring..usually that is me..but I just couldn't sleep so up I went and started cleaning and mopping floors..vacuumed top and bottom and was done by 10:30am and then got the snickerdoodles chillin in the fridge..now I must go and bake them...shower and get dinner ready so we can get a quick dinner of Spaghetti with Checca sauce..it is one of our favorites...got the recipe off of foodnetwork...it has mozzerella balls in it..that sort of melt from the hot spaghetti...really a tasty dish..then off to our class..Tucker also has an appt with the vets for some shots and we have to take his poop in..so he may not be in any mood to socialize tonight...we shall see...Mike is taking Tucker in to work all this week..so am trying to get some stuff done...no interruptions...gotta get 2 baby gifts done..2 sweatshirts and 2 purses and some items done for our monthly selling blog...to be updated by the 7th...hope you are all having a wonderful day...Take care...:)

If you need a really good belly bring tears to your eyes laugh...please stop by Stacey's blog Tattered n torn prims..I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time and I could totally picture this...like in my living room at night relaxing with the DH...I have no idea who is feeding him...but oh my gosh do not light a match...cause our house will explode...we eat the same stuff...but I will not take the blame on this one...:) have a great rest of your weekend...(just hope DH doesn't ready this...or I am in trouble...)....:)lol...

this is where we differ cause my mechanic is very honest and he saves me alot of money..just recently he fixed my alternator on my car..only cot me $200.00 versus what the dealer would have charged me..have you guessed it yet..its DH..
